We entertain groups from all over Frederick County as well as some clients from farther away, including sports teams, drama and other fine arts groups, and even the Navy Junior ROTC program. Many fine programs are teaching the youth of our area to be good citizens and we are pleased to be involved in their efforts. We have been providing banquets for school programs since 1995, and feature menu options that are especially appealing to young adults. The rustic elegance of Morningside Inn’s dining room offers a unique and beautiful dining experience, unparalleled by other banquet venues.
Equally beautiful is the downstairs reception room that provides the ideal arrangement for an awards presentation. Chairs are set auditorium style, facing the podium and award tables. The backdrop is an eastern wall of floor to ceiling windows that overlook the rolling hillside that inspired Morningside’s name. Many groups use audiovisual presentations as part of their awards and Morningside can accommodate AV needs, such as a screen and projector, as well as a public address system.
The School Program Menu offers a great meal at less than market value. We enjoy this opportunity to give back to the community and the benefits are mutual since we get the chance to serve prospective clients. The menu offers a choice of one meat entree, one pasta entrée, one vegetable, one potato or rice dish, salad, rolls and butter, and our famous “Build Your Own Ice Cream Sundae Bar” for dessert – always a hit! The all-inclusive price also includes drinks and gratuity. Our wonderful staff is always attentive to guest’s needs and offer warm and welcoming hospitality.
