We held our whole wedding here and I couldn't be happier with that decision. The staff was absolutely wonderful and so kind. They took care of everything from start to finish. Lesli helped us from the very start to the day of the rehearsal and Melissa took over for the day of the wedding. The chef there is phenomenal ! We went for the tasting event there that was just 2 months before the wedding and we had such a hard time deciding what to put in for the buffet. We decided on a BBQ Beef Brisket and Teriyaki Glazed Chicken Breast which turned out better than the day we tasted it ! I have a very big family thats filled with picky eaters but everyone was amazed at how good the food was ! Frankly, everyone couldn't get over how beautiful and perfect the day was ! If you are looking for a venue, I would highly recommend Morningside Inn ! The only downside was that we couldn't take home any left over food from the buffet.Aidan DemolliMarch 15, 2024As a wedding photographer (Benson Park Photography) I had such a great time capturing Kelly & Patric at the Morningside Inn. The venue is fully equipped with everything you would need for a perfect wedding day. The grounds are gorgeous. The reception and dining hall are elegant and expansive. One thing I appreciated was their AC was cranking and felt amazing even with 150 guests. The staff and day of Planner Megan were so helpful. Very impressive venue. Definitely schedule a tour if you’re looking for a venue that comfortable holds a 100 plus people! Over the years, both of our sons have enjoyed end of season cross country banquets held here during their time as high school student athletes. These always take place during the holiday season and the decor is so charming and lovely. The buffet offers a wide range of options to suit all palates and the staff have always been top notch. Also worth noting is the affordability of this dining option compared to other catering choices. Not only is Morningside Inn the best bargain, it is the highest quality and these student athletes have amazing memories here! This UHS banquet tradition began several years ago because of the superb (then) head coach, Tim Snyder, who told us Morningside Inn held a special place in his heart as it is where his wedding reception took place.Victoria ApplerJanuary 23, 2024I had a beautiful white wedding at Morningside Inn this past weekend. The backdrop of the snow was awesome for photos and the fireplace was roaring which was just an added bonus. Shannon kept the event running smoothly and BIG thanks to the staff for clearing the long driveway of snow so well - no one had any issues getting to the venue depite the 2 to 3 inches we were dealing with. This place runs like a well oiled machine and I, as the bride, was able to focus solely on my guests and new husband, not on the other logistics. Big thanks to Lesli also for being so available for communication throughout this process. So happy with our decision to go with Morningside Inn, especially in the winter!Wonhyung AhnJanuary 5, 2024Beautiful venue. Great service. Excellent food! Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The roast beef was excellent. The couscous was incredible. The sides and condiment offerings were all above and beyond. Desert was beautiful and decadent. And even the sweet tea they make is exactly the way we like it in the South, strong and sweet!
