Morningside Inn was the perfect wedding venue for Stephanie and Matthew’s vintage-inspired wedding! Stephanie’s gorgeous blonde hair was styled in large silky curls paired beautifully with her long-sleeved lace wedding dress. It gave an air of old Hollywood! The bride’s blue eyes sparkled against the white of her wedding gown. Additionally, the buttons that lined her sleeves and the length of the back of her dress felt appropriate next to Matthew’s tailored gray suit. And his thick vintage framed glasses completed the look.

Stephanie’s wedding bouquet was wrapped in luxurious pale pink silk. Hanging from the bouquet was a locket with her Mother’s photo and sentimental charms. These loving sentiments were there to keep close to her on her way down the aisle. Matthew’s gray suit with cranberry details mimicked the cranberry florals within Stephanie’s otherwise soft-hued bouquet of creams, blushes, pinks, and soft greens.

The Ceremony & Reception

The couple enjoyed an indoor Morningside Inn wedding ceremony with natural lighting pouring in from the wall-to-wall bay windows behind them and their family and friends seated in front of them to witness their vows. After their Morningside Inn vintage-inspired ceremony, the elated newlyweds made their way to Morningside Inn’s mile-long drive to enjoy wedding portraits with a white vintage convertible Mustang! These hot wheels completed their glamorously vintage Morningside Inn wedding journey!

Stephanie and Matthew’s cranberry-gold reception was warm with sweet and delicate golden details, such as sprays of soft pale pink roses within floral centerpieces, mixed with cream hydrangeas, roses, and bold cranberry/ red mums. A golden framed seating chart reminding their family and friends that they are in fact, their “Favorite People!”.

The Wedding Details

Framed family memories lovingly perched in front of the glowing fireplace were just some of the cozy sentiments that made the evening feel intimate. Signage at the bar showcased the couple’s furbabies: Heidi and Manny, with the message: “Beer and Wine On Us!”. Anticipation teased by a classic white wedding cake with a modern twist of swirled-around texture was another exquisitely vintage wedding detail. Altogether beautifully muted green eucalyptus tied in the florals. Correspondingly the silky cranberry linens on each table setting hinted at an air of heightened celebration, toasts, dances, and the evening promising more celebratory and vintage moments!

The couple toasted with champagne and treated their guests to individually served almond cakes. These gorgeous cakes had raspberry Swiss buttercream and chocolate ganache. Also served were golden his and her favorite candies as wedding favors. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups as the groom’s favorite and Ferrero Rocher as the bride’s favorite!

At the end of the evening, Stephanie changed into a white, sparkly cocktail dress, complete with a vintage-inspired faux fur shawl for another pin-up look! Stephanie’s 2nd vintage-inspired Marilyn Monroe wedding look, next to Matthew with his vintage-inspired thick-framed glasses, were once again, perfectly paired. Lastly, a vintage wedding exit of bubbles made the newlyweds beam from ear to ear. Their vintage white Mustang awaited, complete with bright red Coca-Cola cans trailing behind. Finally, Stephanie and Matthew made their way to their vintage-inspired forever!
