Wedding Tree Keepsake

Every bride and groom strive to make their wedding a memorable event for their family and close friends by putting special touches that will make an impression that is all their own. Recently, at an outdoor wedding at Morningside Inn the event planner /wedding coordinator was setting up for the wedding that was taking place the next day. After the rehearsal ended, the bride gave the coordinator the items that the bride and groom needed to have set out. The bride had fashioned a beautiful drawing of an old bare oak tree with their initials carved into it. Along with the drawing were various colored stamping ink pads that also matched their wedding colors. In place of a traditional guest book, the guests stamped their thumb and fingerprints on the drawing and could sign their names to identify themselves. The simple drawing became something that could be treasured by framing and placing somewhere in their home. It was a gorgeous piece of artwork made even more special by having all the guests give the finishing touch to the picture with multi-colored finger prints. This unique idea created a one of a kind wall hanging to be enjoyed by the couple for many years to come.
