Courtney & Michael’s Wedding was held at Morningside Inn on September 6th, 2014. The bride was able to arrive three hours before her outdoor country wedding. She spent most of the time in the comfortable bride’s room, complete with several large mirrors and plenty of sitting space. She provided individually labeled wine glasses for her bridesmaids; a great way to keep all the glasses of wine straight between the bridal party! The groom relaxed with his groomsmen before the wedding in his own room, located on the opposite end of the building.
The outdoor country wedding ceremony commenced on the brick paved patio and covered pavilion. Morningside Inn is a secluded wedding venue and guests enjoyed the peaceful outdoor wedding ceremony. There were no road sounds during the ceremony because Morningside is set in the back of three hundred acres of farmland.
A hot buffet meal was prepared fresh for the wedding by the chef at Morningside Inn. The staff tended to the buffet to ensure every guest enjoyed the dinner as well as refilled glasses and kept the dinner tables clear of dirty dishes. The bride and groom offered chocolate treats in addition to their three-tiered wedding cake. The wedding cake was decorated with sunflowers. The wedding keepsake was a framed picture of a tree that the guests signed for the bride and groom.
