How to Prepare for Your Morningside Inn Wedding

  • Organize and plan your Morningside Inn wedding by filling out the following info: 
  • Bridal Party and Ceremony details
  • Enter your decoration plans for each area of Morningside Inn – our coordinator will set all of this out for you on the day of your wedding!
  • Play with the Dinner and Reception Layout of your special day with our Interactive Layout! 
  • List all your wedding vendors (business name + contact info), this way we may contact your wedding pros if needed.
  • Organize your guest list by table and let our Planning Tool automatically populate accurate guest counts for bar, catering, and food allergies.

Schedule your Ceremony Rehearsal on the Thursday before your wedding.

Tasting Event

  • The invitation is emailed with your Planning Tool after the booking
  • Held in January or July
  • Meet our staff & preferred vendors
  • Taste fresh menu choices and prepare to finalize your menu

Planning with Coordinator 

  • Scheduled after Tasting Event
  • Review all elements of the Planning Tool
  • Finalize menu and package options 
  • Choose linen colors
  • Finalize room layout and decorations.
  • Walk around the venue to clarify the placement of decorations
  • Indicate gifts & decorations responsible adult who will take decorations and gifts home

Ceremony Rehearsal 

  • Morningside Inn Coordinator guides and directs wedding party and officiant

Every Morningside Inn wedding receives a complimentary wedding coordinator, you can relax knowing your Morningside Inn wedding coordinator has the following tasks handled:

Before Your Morningside Inn Wedding

  • Set up Dining Room as determined at Planning
    • Table and chair layout and linens
    • Pre-assembled and unwrapped wedding favors, centerpieces, guestbook
    • Seating chart and Pre-alphabetized place cards
    • Cake knife
    • Preassembled and unwrapped non-floral decorations
  • Set up Ceremony Site
    • Chairs
    • Signs, wedding programs
    • Preassembled non-floral decorations
  • Direct the bridal party to the correct parking area and rooms
  • Direct wedding vendors and answer questions
  • Move ceremony indoors (inclement weather)

During Wedding/ Event

  • Direct wedding guests to the drop-off area & parking
  • Greet guests and hang coats
  • Assist guests with accessibility needs
  • Cut and serve wedding cake – Box extra wedding cake to take home
  • Perform clean-up throughout and after the reception
  • Maintain wedding schedule

After Wedding/ Event

  • Box up decorations in the original box and store them at the entrance for your designated gifts & decorations contact to take home
