Ashley & Mike’s snow-themed winter wedding ceremony was at Morningside Inn wedding venue in Frederick, Maryland on January 17, 2016. The couple had 125 wedding guests for their Sunday five 0’clock wedding ceremony and reception.
Wedding Ceremony
Before the wedding in Maryland, the bridal party prepared for the ceremony in the spacious bride’s room. There was plenty of space and mirrors for the large bridal party to make their final touches to gowns and makeup. Winter Morningside Inn brides do not have to sacrifice outdoor photographs because this private estate is located on 300 acres and provides impressive photo backdrops in every direction! The groom’s wedding party enjoyed their comfortable room. There are large mirrors for the guys as well at Morningside Inn. The groom and his buddies also enjoyed great photographs on the side lawn and driveway, just steps from the groom’s room entrance.
The couple embraced their snow-themed winter wedding ceremony. There were touches of winter everywhere in classy silver and blue. The table lines were white with Navy toppers. Wedding guests wrote notes on snowflake shaped ornaments and hung them on the miniature Christmas tree. Tables held candles has a sparkly silver and blue snowflake. Guests were given homemade hot chocolate mix in glass jars as a wedding favor.
Wedding Reception
The couple chose the Supreme Buffet for their wedding guests with plated Caesar salad. The buffet included baked Maryland Ham with orange marmalade, and tortellini tossed with fresh pesto, grilled breast of chicken with red pepper cream sauce, green bean almondine with red peppers, and roasted garlic mashed potatoes. Guests enjoyed prosciutto wrapped shrimp and grilled cheese and tomato hors d’oeuvre. In addition to the wedding cake, guests ate handmade assorted miniature.
