We recently hosted a great two day meeting for a local business, highlighting their employee benefits and open enrollment. Computer stations were set up for employees to log-in to the Insurance Company web-site to enroll directly for their choice of services on site.
Morningside Inn offers lots of options for room layout and the equipment necessary to facilitate all AV needs. This company took advantage of our free wireless internet, and used a PA system, projector and screen for audio visual presentations. The large classroom style set up was perfect to accommodate up to 90 guests.
Attendees kicked off their first day with a Soup and Sandwich buffet luncheon, a Morningside meeting specialty. Chef Tim’s culinary offerings range from gourmet cuisine to downhome comfort food, including an exceptional variety of delectable, soul warming soups. Guests may choose to build a sandwich or salad with a variety of high end deli meats, breads, cheeses and condiments that are crowd pleasers.
In addition to our typical meeting food service of continental breakfast and casual lunch, attendees were treated to a special dining experience for the evening. Cocktails and hors d’oeurvres were served, followed by a plated dinner featuring mouthwatering Filet Mignon, Crab Cake and Grilled Chicken Breast with Raspberry Zinfandel Butter.
Between work sessions, attendees were able to enjoy breaks by strolling on the beautiful grounds of Morningside Inn. It was a gorgeous fall afternoon and guests were seen catching up with the outside world on their cellphones. The company took advantage of the outdoor area to shoot a company photograph with our lovely scenery as the backdrop.
