We would love to say that the sun always shines at Morningside, but for Paul-Devon and Kristen, their wedding day saw rain. The beauty of holding a wedding in Maryland, at Morningside Inn, is that we have a great backup plan! Our staff can transform an outdoor wedding to an intimate indoor wedding in minutes. The in-house wedding coordinator will also direct guests and wedding parties to the appropriate areas so that the bride can remain relaxed before her indoor wedding in Maryland.
Wedding Ceremony and Reception Details
The wedding ceremony was held inside Morningside with the same fantastic views of green rolling hills. The bridal party posed for many outside wedding photographs on the gazebo. The natural setting of Morningside provides great photo opportunities, even when the weather doesn’t cooperate. The couple chose a simple white cream wedding cake topped with white doves, labeled Mr. and Mrs. In addition to the delicious wedding cake, guests enjoyed a chocolate fountain. The groom relaxed in the comfortable groom’s room with family and friends before the ceremony.
